Programme Leader

Job Purpose:

To work with the Programme Manager and the wider teams to deliver a track vehicle and assist in providing a unique world class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

Assist in the delivery and support of an exciting project in line with customer and internal expectations

Own, develop, and update the Bill Of Materials and Vehicle Specification documentation

Lead part status and delivery tracking and BOM update meetings

Assist in the creation of programme planning documents

Compile and report out progress metrics to the management teams

Manage suppliers to ensure that components and systems are delivered on time, to the required quality and on cost

Assist in creation of documentation to support the vehicles – Build Books, Service schedules, Vehicle usage and setup notes, etc.

Assist in the Track Programme

Willingness to go the extra mile in a customer facing role to support and deliver a world class customer experience

Act as stand-in for the Programme Manager when required

Qualification & Experience:

Automotive engineering degree or equivalent qualification

BOM and Parts management and control experience

In depth experience of Excel desirable; data manipulation, referencing, formulae, macros etc.

Ability to interpret then use data from spreadsheets to support presentations is essential

Proactive at closing down issues and open items is essential

Excellent communication and authoritative presentation skills

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Ability to build up good working relationships across a wide area of the business, and a broad range of external partners

Must be willing and able to travel and work abroad for short periods of time

Full valid UK driving license and Fluency in spoken and written English Language

 

Advantageous:

Experience in low volume prototype build methods desirable

Motorsport Events planning and support experience

Experience of financial tracking and reporting desirable

Knowledge of vehicle components, systems and assembly methods
