Innovative, industry-leading manufacturing company based in Banning, California seeks passionate, hands-on Injection Molding Technician. The ideal candidate has a high mechanical aptitude and analytical mind and “obsessively” troubleshoots production processes and equipment to improve performance and reduce machine downtime.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing machines and equipment.
- Develops solutions to improve quality of product, reduces machine downtime and prevents similar failure events
- Develops preventive maintenance plans and manages inventory of spare parts.
- Works effectively with Engineering and Product Development in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements that increase quality or reduces costs, researches new equipment and solutions, works with engineering and operations to develop work cells.
- Analyzes all required drawings and work orders to fabricate desired product or part to specification.
- Works with machine operators to refine the operation of all facility molding machinery and will trouble-shoot quality issues or machine malfunctions and make machine adjustments.
