About The Job
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer looking to advance their career within a fast moving manufacturing environment. Working as part of the Production Engineering team you will also be responsible for advising designers about relevant manufacturing issues and dealing with general manufacturing queries from employees, sub contract suppliers and customers. In this position you will have production engineering responsibility across multiple projects, requiring good initiative and ingenuity and working to tight deadlines.
About You
Your sound working knowledge of manufacturing, will be key to you developing our processes and manufacturing techniques, which will involve working closely with Engineers, Foreman and machinists at all levels across the company, to effect change and therefore strong influencing skills are essential.
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC/HND level in an engineering related discipline and have at least 3 years post qualifying experience within a production engineering team in manufacturing. Essential skills are the ability to work under pressure, have a robust approach to problem solving, being able to forge good working relationships, good organisational and IT skills. CAD skills are essential, with ideally experience of NX 3D, although training will be given.
You will be a confident, flexible, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and understanding of working with procedures, controls and quality standards
