We are looking for a Product Engineer to work as a part of our Chassis Design Team. We offer you the possibility to be involved in a complete chassis development project based in our BU in China.
Job Description:
- Chassis component development ownership
- Support to achieve an appropriate packaging for the components between themselves and for the whole system on vehicle
- Change management of BOM.
- Support/generate the DVP (Design Validation Plan).
- Ensure DFM & DFA are implemented on the design.
- Supplier management
- Support mule and prototype vehicles assembly if required.
- Generate the definition of the chassis components / technical specifications.
- Reach the component targets in terms of costs, timings, etc..
- Ensure the manufacturability/assembly ability of component series production.
- Participate in project meetings and in cross-functional design reviews.
- Work alongside other technical departments.
