Product Data Specialist

Race Winning Brands has an exciting opportunity for a Product Data Specialist to work in our world headquarters office in Mentor, OH. The Product Data Specialist position will be responsible for creating and maintaining all product and fitment data in accordance to industry data standards (including ACES/PIES) across various Powersports product lines. The Specialist must have experience with data management along with strong attention to detail skills.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of product data;
  • Manage data input and maintenance within RWB’s product information management system (PIM);
  • Review and clean/correct product data including images, dimensions, descriptions, and fitment/application data for catalog and (PIM);
  • Work in conjunction with website team to ensure data such as product descriptions, attributes, features and benefits, weights and measures and visuals are portrayed properly for best in class customer experience;
  • Assess new and changed data for completeness and accuracy;
  • Generate and Maintain competitive and OE interchange;
  • Support the Product Management team with any data analysis needs;
  • Develop a process to stay current with OEM data changes, industry data, and format requirements;
  • Other data responsibilities may be assigned based on department and company needs;
  • Research competitive products and benchmark against RWB products making recommendations to product management for (4) P’s of Marketing, Product, Price, Place and Promotion;
  • Identify and resolve data conflicts in a timely manner;
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to properly document new product development utilizing internal software tools for fitment information and require specifications

Requirements and Primary Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Related Field, required; or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Powersports industry knowledge (3 years preferred);
  • Proficient with MRP, ERP, and Business Intelligence Software Preferred (MAS 500, Power BI);
  • Familiarity with industry data standards, ACES, and PIES strongly preferred;
  • Microsoft Office Experience (Strong Excel Skills - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s);
  • Excellent time management skills, managing multiple tasks, priorities, and projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative;
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English via verbal and written methods;
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
