PPF & Vinyl Specialist/Auto Detail & Paint Correction Technician

Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00/hr. DOE

As a PPF & Vinyl Specialist / Auto Detailing & Paint Correction Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the protection, enhancement, and aesthetic appeal of SpeedVegas' fleet of supercars, off-road vehicles and Go-karts.

Essential Functions:

  • Apply Paint Protection Film (PPF) and vinyl wraps to vehicle exteriors with precision and care, ensuring seamless installation and optimal protection against scratches, chips, and environmental damage.
  • Perform thorough auto detailing services, including interior and exterior cleaning, to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants and restore vehicles to like-new condition.
  • Utilize paint correction techniques such as polishing, buffing, and compounding to correct imperfections, enhance gloss, and restore the shine of vehicle paint surfaces.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to assess paint condition, identify imperfections, and determine the most suitable paint correction methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper care and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workspaces.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in PPF and vinyl technologies, and new detailing and paint correction techniques through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure clarity, satisfaction, and timely completion of service requests.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to support efficient workflow and service delivery.
  • Maintain constant communication with management.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in PPF and vinyl application, auto detailing, and paint correction techniques.
  • Proficiency in utilizing tools and equipment specific to PPF application, vinyl wrapping, auto detailing, and paint correction.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of automotive paint systems, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, learn new skills, and embrace innovation in the automotive detailing industry.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Loud noises
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
