Main tasks
- Show responsibility for the powertrain management system strategies and calibration preparation prior to events and tests
- Prepare the powertrain specific test plans and follow up during tests
- Monitor engine, gearbox and hybrid data during tests and events (fire ups, roll-outs, tests)
- Report after tests and events, including testing results, calibration, problems
- Liaise with the rest of the event team, including engineers and drivers for all that is powertrain related
- Be a source of proposals for technical problems solving and performance improvements within the engine group
- Support engine / hybrid dyno calibration activities when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Familiarity with projects and work in a motorsport environment
- Previous relevant experience in engine calibration and engine fundamentals is essential
- Fluent English both written and spoken is mandatory
- Knowledge of Engine Management Systems and data analysis (Marelli or equivalent)
- You complete tasks with minimal guidance and work under pressure to meet deadlines
