A small performance parts brand specializing mainly in cooling system parts is looking for a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in a varied role assisting the owner in the day-to-day running of the business.
Day-to-day tasks will involve:
- Processing, packing and dispatching orders
- Responding to customer emails
- Product assembly, involving the use of hand tools
- Various computer based admin work
- Stock-taking
- Warehouse organisation & tidying. Involves manual lifting and carrying of heavy boxes.
There will also be opportunities to work on vehicles including servicing, repairs and project car builds if you have any interest/experience in mechanics.
Hours will vary in line with the amount of orders to dispatch each day but will generally be around 4-5 hours on Mondays and 2-3 hours per day on Tuesday-Friday for a total of around 15-17 hours per week.
Starting pay will be national minimum wage - currently £7.50 for over 25's, £7.05 for 21-24 year old's and £5.60 for under 21's. These rates will rise in line with the national increase in April 2018.
The ideal candidate have an interest in some aspect of motor vehicles (mechanics, motorsport, modifying etc). Computer literacy is essential and any mechanical/engineering experience may be beneficial.
