The company have a tight-knit family feel, with many of the staff working their way up in the company and staying for 40 years!In this autonomous and dynamic role, you will be designing and producing bespoke electrical and mechanical heating components such as control panels and duct heaters, for a huge variety of industries, whilst liaising with the manufacturing and fabrication teams within the two factories on site. With 8-5 working hours, and a 1:00 finish on a Friday, you will be working autonomously on bespoke projects, with frequent customer liaison to ensure the best possible service.This dynamic role would suit a CAD Engineer with a background in Electrical and Mechanical Design who is proficient in 2D AutoCAD, who is looking for an autonomous and dynamic role within a well-established and trusted company that offer on the job training and progression opportunities into Senior and Management roles.THE ROLE:
- Designing and producing bespoke heating components
- Liaising with customers to ensure clear design plans and customer needs
- Liaising with the factories on site to oversee production
- 8 - 5 working hours with a 1:00 finish on a Friday
THE PERSON:
- CAD Engineer with a background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in 2D AutoCAD
- Experience designing and modifying control panels
- Commutable to Cardiff
