Motorsport Sales - Speedtech Performance

This position is located in St. George, Utah.

Responsible for driving sales growth primarily through direct sales to end users and dealers. This requires a multiple-step sales process that spans weeks to months. You will employ a deep understanding of market needs, consultative sales techniques and relationship building to identify customer needs and close business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs.
  • Actively engage with customers on the phone, email and at trade shows and events, showcasing our products and generating sales leads.
  • Apply knowledge of vehicle suspension systems, custom vehicle building needs, company products and effective account management via phone, email and other communication methods.
  • Demonstrates and effectively leverages knowledge of the company’s products and services as well as an understanding of the motorsports industry and current market conditions.
  • Learns and effectively use QuickBooks and other ERPs systems to maintain customer contact data, generate data and reports to facilitate exceptional account management and customer service.
  • Promptly and professionally resolves any customer concerns on products, delivery, or accounting discrepancies as needed.
  • Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the automotive industry to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including product development, marketing, operations, and shipping to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Schedules and travels to customers, events, industry trade shows and training sessions as needed to promote Speedtech Performance brand and products and further individual professional development.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education & Experience

Required

  • AA or technical degree (2 years of college); or eight to ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of progressive sales experience in the motorsports or powersports industry.
  • Strong automotive understanding and experience, with a passion for motorsports.
  • Proficient computer knowledge, including the use of CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and work effectively within a team.
  • Availability to travel and attend trade shows, as well as work flexible hours based on business needs.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
