Purpose of Role

  • Manage the materials that are delivered in such a way to ensure readiness and availability for workshop and production line build.
  • Implement controls to ensure errors, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
  • Driving stock accuracy improvements.
  • Van driving between MAL sites, suppliers & race teams if required.
  • Ensure SAP is displaying “clean” data ensuring all parts are checked in and out of the logistics area.
  • Work with the Motorsport logistics team to drive process improvements.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Strong and consistent approach to driving governance and processes
    • Familiarity with operating metrics to drive performance
    • Ability to drive results whilst working across a wide range of stakeholders including purchasing, planning and manufacturing
    • Dynamic individual with the ability to respond to challenging situations in an innovative manner
    • Excellent understanding of supply chain management
    • Previous experience within the manufacturing industry, especially automotive serial production, would be a distinct advantage
    • Experience of working in project teams to deadlines
    • SAP
