The Winder Role
Our workshop team build a wide range of electrical machinery including electric motors, the Motor Winder will be responsible for:
- Winding various shaped coils which sit inside the motor to create a magnetic field
- Coil forming
- Winding
- Making connections (brazing and soldering)
- Electrical testing
- Measuring and inspecting your own work.
About You
We are seeking candidates who either have previous experience in AC/DC Motor Winding or someone with a fine assembly background, such as mechanical, PCB or intricate electronics assembly who has excellent attention to detail and can complete routine tasks to a consistently high level.
You may previously have held a role as a Winder, electro-mechanical technician, electronics technician, electronics assembler.
