Are you an energetic, problem solving Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking for a varied, fast paced and technically challenging design position in a niche sector?
On offer is a position with a small but hugely successful, award winning, designer, manufacturer and installer of technical equipment to high value client assets.
Highly desirable experience of design of the following: Gears, Gearboxes, Transmissions, Drive Shafts, Harnesses. It is preferred that you have professional experience in Solidworks, but training will be provided. This would suit someone from a Motorsport or Aerospace Background – But we are open minded and will consider other areas.
This will be a demanding position and will offer variety – you won’t just be sat at a CAD station, at times you will be required to: get hands in the manufacturing process, project manage, deal with clients/customers.
Due to the nature of the business there will be some worldwide travel – which will require flexibility. You will be required to work to tight deadlines.
It would be great if you are experienced in FEA Analysis including hand calculations, if you have limited experience in the application of FEA, then a proven strong Academic Mathematical background is required.
