JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review all vendor creations and additions and ensure all validation steps have been completed
- Perform root-cause analysis on master data integration problems. Recommend and execute corrective action
- Assist manager in the overall governance of master data creation and maintenance to ensure consistency across the organization for all Vendor Master and Reference data
- Assist manager in cross-functional efforts to implement initial data set-up or mass data creation
- Assist manager in the governance of change requests to MDM components and policies. Review Vendor Master Data requests to ensure high quality data is available to execute Global Procure-To-Pay business processes.
- Assist manager with constant improvement in the quality and accuracy of the master data to ensure uninterrupted business continuity
- Audit data quality of all master and reference data across all locations and coordinate resulting data cleansing activities
- Develop and maintain solid working relationships with purchasing, operations, and financial organization to resolve vendor related issues that impact various departments/functions
- Ensures SOX Controls, Finance Policies, Documented Procedures are enforced.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience
- Evidence of exceptional ability
- Experience with ERP systems; AX Dynamics experience preferred.
- 2+ years’ direct experience in Master Data Governance role a plus
- Able to work independently with little instruction and can adapt to change.
- Able to work well with others in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel.
- Effective communication skills and customer service approach.
- Action-oriented, solution-driven, and able to work in a fast pace environment.
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
