Job Summary:
Pikes Peak International Raceway is searching for an individual that is capable of assisting the Marketing Director by performing a variety of tasks that aid in the growth and development of the Marketing Department. The applicant will be expected to work 3 to 4 days per week, including most weekends and all major events.
Responsibilities:
Priority (Day to Day):
- Assist with Content Creation, Development, and Execution
- Assist in designing and developing marketing and sponsorship materials
- Assist with management of Social Media Channels
- Assist in maintaining and analyzing Social Media Insights and Analytics per month
- Assist in customer service through social media channels and email inquiries
- Assist in creation of email newsletters
- Assist in website design and editing
- Assist in Design and Development of PPIR Merchandise/Swag
- Assist in advertising creation and execution
- Assist with other duties as assigned
During Events:
- Assist in management of media during events
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Knowledge/Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), social networking, email marketing and search engines
- Strong writing and copy-editing abilities
- Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Ability to work with a team and take directives
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities

Nonessential Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years experience in marketing or equivalent education
- Experience with digital photograghy and video editing
- Understanding of track safety and etiquette
- Possesses a passion for motorsports creativity
- Possesses the Initiative to stay self motivated
