Marketing Assistant

Purpose:

Assist with planning, and coordinating the company’s marketing, communications, and sponsorship sales activities. Assist with overseeing the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing and sales strategy for the business.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Assist with development and implementation of the Brand strategy
  • Help develop the marketing strategy for new and existing products
  • Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
  • Must have strong communication skills/ Attention to detail
  • Assist with email marketing, attending off-site events, CRM, cold calling, etc.
  • Manage and update the company’s website
  • Working closely with the company’s Sales Team, and various Departments; enabling them to meet their department objective
  • Attend networking events and trade shows on behalf of the company
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
  • Assist in developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications, and Sales
  • Strong Computer Skills including Microsoft Office, WordPress/website platform
  • Proven track record of success in mid-level/senior marketing roles

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time
  • Ability to look at a computer screen for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to work outdoors to assist in event setup
  • Ability to use a hand held office phone
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to reach, push, pull, bend

Work Setting:

  • Typical indoor office working environment with the typical indoor temperature fluctuations
  • Occasionally working outdoors setting up and/or during events
  • Occasionally office environment could be loud due to others on the phone, conversations, or visitors in the office
