Role Overview

Fisker Automotive is looking for a high performing Sales Planning Manager, to join our growing team based in Manhattan Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will help drive the strategic and tactical sales planning throughout the organization.  Will oversee the Fisker sales funnel by tracking sales and analyzing industry trends and data to guide improvements within the funnel.   Responsible for analyzing the sales process to identify opportunities and suggest solutions for optimization.   Recommends, implements, and manages Fisker’s sales automation tools. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategies and plan necessary to meet the organization’s sales growth deliverables
  • Support the sales team by providing analysis and reports that foster process improvement, measure, and track progress, and provide relevant analytics to their functional areas
  • Work with the Retail Experience Manager to define lead qualification process, analyze and report on performance with reporting and dashboards
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Legal Team to develop Fisker’s go to market sales strategy
  • Create monthly content for executive presentation and board reporting
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel, operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management
  • Work closely with the Distribution Manager to ensure proper inventory mix is ordered
  • Ensure proper inventory levels at the Experience Centers to fill customer purchase requests
  • Develop best practices, feedback loops, and process improvements 
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and Key Performance Indicators
  • Maintain regular check-ins with the Director of Sales Planning, Distribution, and Logistics and other executives who contribute to opportunity development to determine how sales opportunities are tracking against the Business Plan and identify any problems for internal review and problem solving

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Sales Planning or Sales Operations, preferably at an automotive OEM; at least 2 years at the Manager level
  • Experience in Sales Operations or Sales Planning as a subject matter expert with proficiency creating reports, optimizing, and creating processes, training new hires, and managing dashboards
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point skills 
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented 
  • Creative, strategic thinker 
  • Problem solver, quick solution finder
  • Results and success-oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues and projects to closure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while striving for excellence
