An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant at our
Cottenham office.
Main Purpose of Position
Prepare, develop and analyse key financial information to assist
management and other stakeholders to make informed decisions.
You will work closely with all departments in the organisation and
will need to build effective working relationships.
Specific Responsibilities
- Management Accountant for Performance Electronics
- Support for Managing Director as required
- Support to Group Financial Controller with Group consolidation
activities. - Weekly Outlook
- Weekly Cash Flow
- Vendor Accounts set up in SAP
- Monthly Management Accounts (Flash reporting; Balance sheet
reconciliations, Full Profit/Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow,
Performance Electronics - Divisional Consolidation) - Intercompany Matrix for the entire Group
- Monthly reports (Stock; Revenue; SOI; Major OEM project
reporting; Headcount; Variance Analysis) - Group Consolidation for all reporting (Actuals; Budget;
Forecast; Plan; IFRS; US GAAP conversion) - VAT for the UK companies (VAT Return; Intrasat; EC Sales
List) - Budget and Quarterly Forecasting (including major OEM program -
full model analysis) - 5 Year Plan modelling for the Electronics Division
- Audit both Interim and Full Year
- Monthly hedging reporting
- R&D Tax claim
- Admin for HSBC and Concur (expenses portal)
- Line management of Accounts payable and accounts receivable for
Performance Electronics - Support commerical team as required
- Report monthly KPI for Performance Electronics
- Group Insurance (UK and US)
- Management Accounting for the holding company and cost centres
(CGHL) including any relevant points from above.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
The sucessful candidate may have the following skills,
attributes and experience:
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Knowledge of IFRS
- US GAAP knowledge would be of advantage
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP
- Proactive and positive by nature
- Robust when challenged
- Demonstrable track record of driving change into a business at
an operational and trategic level - Effective communication skills both with finance and
non-finance team members - Attention to detail
- Ability to work to and deliver against tight deadlines.
