Experienced product design lead engineer required to join and lead our development team, focusing on specialist components and projects for the Automotive/Motorsport sector
Responsibilities will include:
- Product design and development of new and existing products
- Working on special prototype vehicle projects
- Product and market research
- Quality control inspections and audits
- End-to-end project management
- Rapid prototyping
- Work with external manufacturing partners and other suppliers
Requirements: Proven experience as a Product Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
Understanding of a wide range of manufacturing processes including: Mechanical, electrical, CNC machining, sheet metal and welding, tools and equipment, safety critical equipment. Understanding and a keen interest in automotive and motorsport
Qualified to degree level in Engineering
CAD, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk etc.
