Key Account Manager

Do you have extensive commercial acumen? Do you have a solid foundation of manufacturing knowledge? We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager on a permanent basis within a high precision manufacturing company.

The day to day duties for the Key Account Manager would include:

  • Developing of existing accounts by giving a high level of service and being technically credible
  • Supplying engineered solutions and components to Key OEM and niche engineering accounts
  • Out of the office 2 or 3 days a week having a presence on client’s sites
  • Networking within the key accounts and at trade shows and events
  • Be involved in technical conversations with key accounts to ensure their requirements are fully understood

The company are a modern engineering manufacturing business who are a leading precision manufacturer, supplying components and engineered solutions to the Motorsport and Automotive industries. The company have some ambitious growth plans to double their turn over within 5 years so see the commercial team being a big driving force in the plans of the business.

For the Key Account Manager position there are several essential skills required, such as:

  • Previous sales or commercial experience
  • Must be a proactive and self-starter to work on your own initiative to create opportunities
  • Previous experience of precision engineering or manufacturing environment is a must
  •  Any previous Motorsport or Automotive experience is advantageous
