Due to unprecedented growth amongst its global community of customers, Carter Manufacturing Ltd are looking to recruit an Internal Sales person for their Head Office in Abingdon. Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, and working closely with the rest of the technical sales team, you'll support the business by realising sales of their specialist bearings products. Carter Manufacturing Ltd are based in Oxfordshire, the UK's scientific hi-tech zone, this is a chance to work for a business that provides technical products and know-how to clients who are working at the cutting edge of technological growth; from aerospace and defence to motorsport and renewables.
This role would suit a recent engineering graduate or a candidate with a diploma in engineering, who now wants to move into a commercial setting and continue their professional development. You'll need to show that you thrive in a team environment and can work to deadlines; that you have a strong focus on customer service and sales and have good communications skills. That you are able to work closely with clients on realising and responding to their complex requirements.
You'll join a high qualified team of technical specialists supporting a growing customer base in the UK, Europe and beyond.
Day to day activities will include:
- Fielding enquiries from customers and resolving problems - providing outstanding support
- Marketing and selling bearings to current customers and looking for new opportunities to develop new business
- Increasing sales by identifying and new customers and markets
- Building relationships with customers and identifying new
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Aiding the sales team and using your engineering know how to provide solutions for customers
- Supporting other areas of the business as required
- Keeping up to date with the market and any product changes
Experience/qualifications required:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
