A vacancy has arisen for a Hydraulics Technician reporting to the No.1 Mechanic.
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the preparation build service and test of Hydraulic assemblies for Race Test and Dyno.
Key Accountabilities / Duties include:

Responsible for building safety-critical hydraulic manifolds and systems, ensuring that all of the procedures and quality checks are followed.

Use SAP to create build sheets and ensure assembled components have enough mileage to complete an event.

Complete servicing of hydraulic assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Servicing, fitting and maintenance of clutches and clutch actuators.

Manage, in conjunction with other team members, spares, lifting and servicing of car parts.

Carry out other similar skilled duties as and when required including cross over with engine dressing and gearbox related tasks.

Responsible for keeping a clean and tidy working environment in all test areas within Mercedes GP Operations Centre.
Candidate Profile:

Minimum of three years F1 Hydraulics experience factory based or trackside.

Training in hydraulics build and maintenance required.
-
Confidence to work unsupervised.
-
SAP experience an advantage.
-
Atlas and System monitor experience beneficial.
