Fabricator/Welder

Multimatic Motorsports Europe is currently seeking to recruit a Fabricator / Welder (factory based) reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor. Within this role you will be required to perform a diverse range of tasks involved in manufacturing parts to the highest professional standards for all current programmes.

Aside from providing engineering and product-development services to Multimatic’s own manufacturing facilities worldwide, MTCE is a leading contract engineering and vehicle-development resource to major OEMs, motorsport teams and a growing number of niche-vehicle manufacturers.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

As a Fabricator you will be expected to take on the responsibility for:

  • Assembly and manufacture of a variety of race car components from suspension through to roll cages.
  • Take direction primarily from the Fabrication Supervisor whilst working very closely with the Chief Mechanic, but also from the Race Engineers from time to time.
  • You need to be an excellent team player with a good work ethic and flexible attitude to work.

Education & Experience Requirement:

  • The successful candidate will need to have served an apprenticeship or similar, and possess excellent Tig/Mig Welding skills in all materials.
  • Machining Skills would be an advantage.
  • The role requires a high level of commitment, attention to detail is essential.  
  • Previous Motorsport experience is an advantage but not necessary.
