We have an excellent opportunity to join our business applications team as an ERP Functional Specialist. You will be working as an internal consultant of Dynamics 365 Operations. closely in contact with the Operations team, business intelligence, and the business to create new solutions that will drive the Team to achieve our ultimate goal; to win the Formula 1 World Championship.
The Role
As the ERP Functional Specialist you will be responsible for enhancing the supply chain ERP activities as well as for improving the current processes in order to comply with the new FIA financial and sporting regulations. As part of the IT Team, you will be required to support, enhance, and configure the supply chain & operation solutions. This will include:
• Knowledge of the supply chain modules of an ERP including manufacturing, production control, capacity scheduling and planning.
• Creation of process maps with AS-IS TO-BE, gap analysis of the system and mapping of the process flows.
• Develop and maintain well-documented improvements to Operations Business Requirements.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve and control processes across the business to meet the demands of the business.
• Provide functional expertise and mentorship with a focus on D365 processes.
You will assist the team and the wider business to provide an excellent user experience with the day-to-day operations of all financial & business applications and reporting. You will also help to identify and support new projects across the business, collaborating with the other platforms team to ensure timely and effective results.
The Person
You must have excellent people skills and an ability to build solid working relationships throughout the Team. Knowledge of ERPs and/or Azure’s technologies (SAP, D365, AX2012, NAV, Oracle) is advantageous. This role requires a high level of commitment, providing a pro-active and efficient service to the Team. Excellent communication and organisation skills are essential along with a strong interest in data, analytics, low code apps and automation.
