Electronics Technician

The world’s first autonomous electric racing car, an extreme motorsport and entertainment platform for the future of road relevant technologies.

We are currently seeking a talented Electronics Technician to be part of this groundbreaking project to work on the entire fleet of cars for Roborace. To be successful you will have an innovative and ‘hands on’ approach gained within a motorsport or high-end niche automotive environment and have eligibility to work in the UK.

As well as a sound knowledge of automotive electronic systems including CAN, data acquisition and sensing technology, you will be a great communicator, comfortable working under pressure, excited and passionate to deliver within a high performing team environment. You will also be flexible to travel internationally if required.

Technical Responsibilities will include

  • Designing and building Motorsport specification wiring harnesses and electronic assemblies
  • Using CAD Harness design software and working with hybrid or electric powertrains
  • Working with McLaren Electronics Systems software tools including System Monitor and ATLAS
