Electrical Project Engineer - Water Sector
Our client, a reputable company in the Water sector, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their team. This is a contract role with an opportunity to contribute to their projects in Powys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for water projects
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery within allocated budgets and timelines
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team and contractors
- Review project specifications and electrical drawings to identify potential issues and recommend necessary modifications
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality and performance of electrical systems
- Prepare project documentation, including reports, risk assessments, and method statements
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the water or related sector
- Strong understanding of electrical system design, installation, and commissioning
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations for electrical systems in the water industry
- Proficiency in using design software and other relevant tools
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required
