Our client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in the water industry. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering complex projects within the water sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee electrical engineering activities across various projects within the water industry.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of electrical works, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Supervise electrical contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, resolving any technical issues and ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including technical reports, drawings, and specifications.



Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on project delivery within the water industry.
  • BSc/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card required.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) qualifications are desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
