About this Position:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Electrical Engineering group. This includes equipment specifications, complex problem solving, countermeasure development, Equipment efficiency up, obsolescence replacement, PLC and Assembly Internal Communication Network SME's.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the development of and justify solutions to complex problems.

• Project management (Analyse-Plan-Justify-Implement-Confirm-Report)

• Support the review and approval of electrical design and specifications

• Provide technical support for current equipment to meet and exceed department characteristic targets.

• Assembly internal communications network and PLC technical SME

• Support complex troubleshooting and analysis of electrical equipment to resolve issues in a timely manner

• Work with team to develop long term countermeasures for chronic issues

• Support production equipment troubleshooting during downtime situations downtime

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

• 0-6 years dependent upon education level

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, controls, or robotics) or 6 years' equivalent experience; Associate's degree in Engineering (electrical, controls, or robotics) or 4 years' equivalent experience

Desired skills:

• Problem analysis skills, PLC and Industrial Networking/Communication, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), CAD (Catia, and AutoCAD), Time management.

Additional Position Factors:

• Flexible work hours

• Flexible work schedule

• Ability to travel, both domestic and international

• 10-20 hours of overtime per week possible

• Weekend and Holiday work may be required

• 30% Standing vs. sitting

• Moderate lifting may be required.
