The Location:
Situated in Dandenong South, we are approximately 30 km south-east from Melbourne. Dandenong boasts a thriving metropolitan manufacturing and commercial business district, one of the largest in Greater Melbourne.
The Position:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual or two to join our team. As a Driver, you will be required to carry out the picking and packing of the van as well as driving and delivery of products to customers. Drivers are to demonstrate a high level of professionalism while driving and comply with and adhere to all Road Traffic Laws and be courteous to all road users. Some of the general tasks are:
- Pick stock and prepare truck runs from 8.00 am till loading.
- Sort out driver run in order of delivery.
- Stack and load own truck.
- Complete all related paperwork.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Maintain the integrity and image of the company at all times.
- To be courteous and respectful to all team members and road users.
- To be punctual and reliable.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):
- Full Victorian driver’s license MR Licence preferable
- Sound Knowledge of Victorian Roads
- English literate
- Ability to work in high-pressure practical and manual environment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Current satisfactory Police Check
- Ability to work within and business Code of Conduct and values in all interactions.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable):
- Understanding and experience in time management in order to accomplish objectives effectively within the time frame given.
- General administrative knowledge and experience that matched the requirements of the position.
