Motorsport Games is a global team. Our HQ is based in sunny Miami, Florida and hosts the Digital Marketing and Product Development teams. The 704 Games team, based in nearby Orlando, work on our NASCAR games franchise. In Moscow, Russia, we have a first-class development operation delivering the very latest technology for our future products as well as additional development and esports operations based in England. Our UK office is just meters away from the main entrance to the home of British motorsport at Silverstone Circuit.

Motorsport Games is seeking a talented, experienced, and resourceful Director of Business Development & Sponsorships to lead, drive, find, manage, and help in the execution of business initiatives, partnerships and sponsorships.

We are looking for person with initiative that looks for opportunities and drives them end to end. He or she will report to the SVP Business Development at Motorsport Games and will also have a voice as a core member of the leadership and strategic teams.

Scope and Responsibilities

You are responsible and accountable, under the general supervision of the Motorsport Games SVP of Business Development to whom you are assigned and reassigned for the faithful performance of the duties set forth for you by your supervisor. Your essential duties, tasks and considerations include, but are not limited to:

  • Target and coordination of efforts with head of Business Development
  • Quickly educate and absorb Motorsport Games and Motorsport Network vision and overall business.
  • Understand organization capabilities, resources, capacity and strategy and how these apply to the overall set of goals.
  • Identify potential targets and business opportunities, then prioritize based on needs and long-term goals.
  • Actively work towards generate new business opportunities while growing current partnerships.
  • Interface and negotiate with external partners to realize opportunities to the benefit of the company.
  • Be able to engage with in high level conversations that could include business and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Internal advocate for new initiatives and opportunities such as NFT-Blockchain, AI and overall new gaming related endeavors.
  • Work with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Product, Finance and Marketing) to refine value proposition and business development efforts.

Requirements

  • 10 years of combined of professional experience in the ad sales, partnerships, and or/b business development.
  • Ability to think strategically, learn quickly, prioritize effectively, and succeed in fast-paced and uncertain environments while acting autonomously.
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set and a passion for using emerging technology and data to solve unmet user needs.
  • Business Affairs experience in the Gaming, within the racing and auto vertical a plus.
  • Good knowledge and a strong passion for Gaming is mandatory.
  • Demonstrate leadership and ability to engage and influence relevant stakeholders, both internal & external;
  • Excellent decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal;
  • Must be detailed oriented and have an excellent eye for quality;
  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently;
  • Able to manage multiple products and projects at the same time;
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under tight timelines.
