Design Manager - Motorsport

As a Design manager, you'll have a true opportunity to make this is brand new role your own, whether that be implementing processes to ensure delivery, or coaching the team to help their own development. The company are in a great position as their products are in high demand, which means their order book is full and with the full backing of the senior management team you'll be well supported.

Although this is a design lead role you won't be hands on designing, this is more of a management and process improvement style of position.

In this role you'll be working with some World famous brands, the majority of which are in the Motorsport/F1 industries however, they also supply products into the Aerospace, MOD and Marine industries so as you can imagine quality is of the upmost importance. They have a specially kitted out manufacturing workshop, one that you would be proud to call work, which is conveniently located on the outskirts of Milton Keynes centre. The senior management team are a very hard working and dedicated group, so someone who shares that approach will no doubt thrive in this company.

The design team is made of 9 including this position, the team includes junior and senior designers, you also have a process engineer in the team.

You will be educated to a degree standard and come with experience of working within engineering and have a design background. You won't be hands on in this role but will need to have previous experience in using CAD. Anyone with CAD/CAM experience would be desirable.

This is a permanent position and you will be working a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is an option in this role as well, once you have passed probation. Salary is depending on experience but could be up to 80k per annum for the right candidate plus benefits.
