As a key member of the Aerodynamic Design team, you will work directly alongside Aerodynamicists, Wind Tunnel Development Engineers and fellow Designers.
This design team is involved in many aspects of Aero development, offering a creative & varied role, which will see you:
- Creating robust and clean parametric CAD surface models for assessment within our CFD tools
- Creating robust wind tunnel model components, for manufacture and fitting to our state of the art Wind Tunnel model and subjected to comprehensive Wind Tunnel testing
- Involved in research and development projects for wind tunnel model capability improvement & aerodynamic measurement tools for track testing
In order to succeed and shape a successful career in this role, candidates must:
- be qualified in a relevant discipline
- ideally have previous relevant experience working within a high level motorsport environment
- demonstrate strong CAD surfacing skills (preferably using Catia V5 / 6)
- have a strong appreciation of mechanical, model and parametric surface design
