Job role: Design Engineer Salary: £30,000-£35,000 dependent on experience Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Hours: Monday to Friday Day Shift Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market leading design and manufacturer of air conditioning, heating and engine cooling systems for the automotive industry. The Benefits: £30,000-£35,000 salary dependent on experience 28 days including bank holidays Company pension scheme Medical Scheme On-site parking Clean working environment The Role: You will be responsible for the design of engine cooling, air filtration, AC and Heating systems. Design and detail a variety of systems and components, ensuring that manufacturing and maintenance teams can understand them. You will use the Solid Edge 3D CAD package to design these components and machines. You will read and create technical drawings and specifications, making sure they complete efficiently and effectively. The Requirements: Previous experience as a design engineer using 3D Cad packages - preferably Solid Edge (essential) Proven ability to read and create technical drawings and specifications (essential) Knowledge of working with HVAC systems, air filtration and air movement systems (advantageous) Knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture and systems (advantageous) Relevant qualifications within design engineering (advantageous) Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
