Founded in 2008 and family-owned, the business is on an exciting growth trajectory as we scale to become the UK’s leading advanced composite provider. What you will be doing:

Working with the engineering and production teams to design moulds, jigs and fixtures for an array of composite components. Pentaxia manufacture epoxy pattern and composite moulds and well as metallic press tooling for volume manufacture. Work will also involve occasional direct communication with customers to discuss tooling concepts, expectations and requirements.

What we are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong working knowledge of Catia V5, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience surfacing using the Generative Shape Design workbench.
  • Strong understanding of carbon fibre production methods and underlying theory.
  • Strong understanding of CNC techniques for tooling component production.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing, assembly & inspection processes.
  • Understanding of GD&T.
  • Understanding of document control requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 standards.
  • Competent with MS Office applications.

Desirable skills

  • Hands-on practical experience of composite manufacturing processes.
  • Experience of Catia V5 Composites Module or alternative ply creation software.
  • Working knowledge of PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of press tooling.

Your working hours: 37 hours per week

Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm

Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm

Variations to these hours and overtime may be asked of you dependent on business needs.
