Our consultancy services have been developed to address specific electrification challenges and our know-how is being adopted by leading OEMs and suppliers worldwide.

You will become part of a dynamic team working in the Project Management function supporting and facilitating our expert electro-mechanical teams working on EV projects in Automotive and Commercial vehicle sectors. This position has arisen directly in line with the company expansion in this fast growing and challenging area, and is therefore offering you an excellent opportunity to take a central role in this expansion on an exciting new strategic project.

Typical work scope will include

  • Plan, commence, execute, supervise, and roundup assigned tasks within the overall project and programme delivery
  • Support preparation for Project Steering Board and External project governance cadence.
  • Responsible for the flow of information from the customer, Chief Engineer and project owner to the team regarding the project, especially in relation to communication of changes, latest program direction and management of technical issues
  • Provide visibility of metrics e.g. released bill of material maturity, number of open issues to maintain a drumbeat for on-time delivery.
  • Take ownership and coordinate tasks which fall outside of Design team responsibility e.g. procurement of testing parts hardware and test house services and liaison with Vehicle OEM customer.
  • Support the team workflow for project documentation review and approvals, ensuring diligence in pre-customer approvals
  • Proactively identify risks before they become issues and maintain the project risk register and actions tracker in support of the overall programme plan. Suggest strategies of achieving and exceeding the project goals to enhance Quality, Cost and Timeliness of delivery.
  • Be in regular contact with the team and ensure that each member is given an opportunity to make suggestions regarding the executions of the project. Be an active listener for the well-being of the project team members.
  • Support evolution of project delivery tools to support engineering delivery efficiency gains and process improvements. Potentially including but not limited to: data management, risk management, change management, issue management and data exchange process
