CNC Machinist – Competitive Salary – Fontwell, West Sussex
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and capable CNC Machinist to join our close-knit team. Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, the CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting and operating multi-axis machine tools in a busy machine shop. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh challenge in a dynamic and rapidly growing company.
The key responsibilities of a CNC Machinery include, but are not limited to:
- Programming and manufacture of components to supplied CAD and drawings
- Setting and operating multi-axis computers numerically
- Maintaining program and tooling records for all components produced
- Taking responsibility for cleanliness and housekeeping in the workplace
- Being aware of health and safety legislation as it applies in the workplace
- Performing any other duties as reasonably requested of you

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a CNC Machinery:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in motor sport or aerospace
- Must be an experienced craftsperson with a proven track record
- Experience of machining tight tolerances in various materials, able to work with minimal supervision in the process
- Able to work 5 axis programmes offline with Vero software (training will be given)
- A flexible team player with good communication skills
- Able to adopt a professional and mature attitude to work and other people
Previous experience in manufacturing precision components and pattern work, preferably in a motorsport environment or similar would be beneficial.
