You will be writing programs, performing setups, operating vertical CNC mills to manufacture patterns/mold tools for Sand Foundry as well as other functions in the manufacturing of aluminium machining from solid.
Requirements
As well as a machining background, suitable candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of 3 axis machining and be able to interpret engineering drawings and have a good knowledge of materials and machining techniques.
The successful CNC Programmer should meet the following criteria, however training can be given:
- Experience using Delcam PowerMill (preferred)
- Proficiency in computer programming and basic IT systems
- Knowledge of programming Heidenhain and Fanuc
- Surface milling of patterns/tooling
- Create 3D drawings and CNC programs using provided software
- Machining of various materials including resin board and aluminium
- Strong work ethic
- Flexible and supportive
- Good communication skills
- Good time management and attendance are essential
- Ability to work unsupervised within a small team environment
Salary negotiable depending on experience
