BS Degree in ME/AERO. Minimum of 6 years of industry experience as CAE analyst and specific solver software usage depending on department specialty area. Minimum of 5 years of experience using pre-processor / post-processor tools (Hyperworks) for complex vehicle system level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis. Related advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
-Implement, configure and support of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software packages that meet Honda's needs.
-Participate on project to develop Honda customized CAE tools based on commercially available software.
- Gather requirements, program, test and support release of automated CAE operations for specialists based on commercially available software.
- Work with IT helpdesk and Honda simulation experts to support all Honda engineers doing Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Manage outside support services that assist on-site with software or testing application questions for Honda engineers.
- Recommend new strategies and processes to improve verification capability and efficiency.
- Participate on projects for advanced technology investigations, including new CAE software and analysis techniques.
