Working as part of the Purchasing Team and reporting to the Purchasing Manager / Value Stream Leader for Moulded Composites you will be required to complete a range of procurement tasks including, scheduling, ordering & supplier liaison.
Responsibilities:
- Progress deliveries to ensure suppliers delivery OTIF and report performance
- Repeat ordering of sundries & consumables
- Obtaining best price and delivery for materials (generated by MRP) required to support the MC team and chasing down suppliers for delivery
- Ordering processing of free issue material from customer (e.g. F1)
- Rescheduling delivery dates to match MRP
- Process quality returns
- Maintain supplier database
- Maintain product safety information (MSDS)
- Booking Couriers
