For over 30 years this established company have been manufacturing brakes & clutches for motorsport and high performance road applications. The range of vehicles catered for is almost endless, and in addition to being able to supply original parts from AP Racing, Girling, Ferodo, Pagid, Performance Friction and Mintex, we also offer a bespoke service, manufacturing parts from customers drawings - or reverse engineering from the original parts.

Brief overview of job role 

  • Using manual machinery including lathes and presses
  • Develop to use 3 axis and 5 axis CNC machines
  • Understand and read technical drawings
  • Adhere to health and Safety
  • Attend events where required

Vacancy description 

This is a great opportunity to work in the automotive sector producing bespoke parts for Motor Sport and the Prestige car industry.Specialising in small run productions to a high specification.

You will work on a variety of machinery starting with manual machines and progressing throughout your apprenticeship to 5 axis CNC’s.

Total hours per week: 36 hours

Weekly wage: £4.50ph plus annual bonus

Desired skills

  • Good Maths ability
  • Practical ability
  • Attention to detail
  • MUST have 5 GCSE's at grade C/4 or above including Maths & English.
  • Willing to enrol on a 3 year Apprenticeship programme.

Personal qualities

  • Able to follow instructions but use own initiative when required
  • Enthusiastic and will to learn
  • An interest in Motor Sports would be an advantage

Future prospects

The candidate will be required to progress to the Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship
