Account Trainee Luxury Automotive Motorsport

The Job

The primary responsibility of this Account Trainee is to support the development and execution of the experiential marketing strategy for an automotive client’s luxury lifestyle events platform within a large-scale brand immersion program. This individual will assist with all facets of the planning and onsite management of these events. The team oversees our most premium vehicle models with specific ownership of arts and culture initiatives.

The right candidate will be able to work as part of a team and will interface with various internal teams and divisions, client partners/vendors, and consumers. Strong team dynamics skills, excellent organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills are required for this position.

This position offers a unique opportunity to learn account management, client engagement, event planning, on-site logistics and event activation skills. This is a limited term, growth opportunity – beginning asap and ending in December.

The Work You'll Do

  • Support account team across multiple programs and various initiatives
  • Assist with vendor management, premium inventory, event planning, and vehicle logistics
  • Assist in staffing multiple events and assume responsibility for event set-up and breakdown
  • Implement sponsorship on-site (i.e. registration, signage, vehicle displays, answer product related questions, etc.)
  • Manage documents such as status reports, tracking documents and meeting notes
  • Create recap documents for events including key leanings, strengths, weaknesses and recommendations
  • Assist in the research and production of competitive reports of the automotive industry
  • Participate in brainstorms and creative ideation
  • Manage select special projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • You have a passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity culture
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous experience in the communications, advertising or marketing industries is a plus
  • Desire to learn and develop a career in sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing
  • Knowledge, experience and interest in luxury products, lifestyle events and/or arts and culture is a plus
  • Capacity to become knowledgeable on our clients’ industry, brand and product offering
  • Detail-oriented; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality work within deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to solve problems effectively and independently
  • Organization, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written). A writing assignment may be part of the hiring process
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve problems independently without manager supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel often including weekends and holidays, and work non-traditional work hours
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
