Aurora hires people who want to build the future of transportation. We are searching for Simulation Software Engineers. He/She will contribute to the development of simulation tools that enable Aurora’s self driving stack to be trained, tested, prototyped and validated all in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineers developing all parts of the self driving stack - from sensors to deep learning - to understand and document the simulation requirements; then plan, develop and deliver excellent simulation tools
- Develop tools to simulate sensor data from complex scenes
- Implement models to simulate vehicle dynamics and complex interactions
- Create realistic simulated interaction between multiple actors
- Create regression testing tools leveraging both empirical and simulated scenarios and data
