We have an exciting position available for a talent Race Strategy Analyst to join our team and contribute directly to maximising our results.
This factory-based role will support all members of our Trackside Performance Group.
The successful candidate will complete performance analysis before, during and after all race and test events in addition to accurately maintaining an historical competitor database. In this role you will also be involved in the conception and development of new tools used for competitor analysis and ongoing improvement of existing tools.
You must be able to demonstrate that you are a strong team player committed to the success of the team. A strong desire to continually improve is also fundamental to this role.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have an excellent degree in engineering or a related discipline
- Be able to demonstrate strong problem solving and mathematical skills, these skills are essential to this role
- Be highly self-motivated and thrive in a challenging environment
- Have a flexible attitude to hours of work as this role will include support for all FIA Formula 1 championship races
- Have the ability to work closely in a team and to tight deadlines
- Have experience of data analysis, strong Excel skills are essential preferably with MAT Atlas (or similar)
- Possess previous programming experience in Python, Matlab, Excel VBA, C#, Visual Studio or .NET programming is desirable
Preference will be given to candidates with previous motorsport experience however this is not essential.
