Job Description:

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Media Specialist I based in our Charlotte, NC corporate office.

Summary

The Media Specialist I is responsible for content ingesting and file distribution to internal and external clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fulfill ingest and distribution requests from outside clients as assigned
  • Facilitate requests from the company’s Competition and Research & Development departments
  • Test and provide feedback for workflows implemented by Production Technology department
  • Work efficiency evaluation for ingest and delivery workflows
  • Maintain the Production Network (SAN)
  • On-call rotation for offsite ingestion of race content and system monitoring
  • Update the company’s Production as content is available for edit
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four (4) year college or university and two (2) years’ experience in Information Technology or similar computer support; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software. Experience with Apple and Mac OS including Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud, CMS experience is not required but beneficial to the job. Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and HTML is a bonus. Proficient in NLE operations, primarily Adobe Premiere Pro.
