We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer join a world leading automotive company who are always striving to ensure their products are one of the best in the world.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer, you will be involved in day-to-day operations of vehicle and component manufacture, working closely with our Assembly, Machine shop and Paint Shop departments.
You will support the manufacturing areas when quality concerns arise, carrying out root cause analysis of concerns, offering short term solutions to enable continued manufacturing without compromise to quality and long term solutions through escalation to external suppliers or internally within the business.
Other key responsibilities will include the creation and implementation of audits for new model motorcycles, including final product audits, assembly torque audits and vehicle packing audits.
Experience Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent problem-solving ability with a calm and methodical approach to issues
- Knowledge of various Quality core tools and industry best practice.
- Experience of standardising processes with a view to improving safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Knowledge in the use of basic measurement equipment, with the ability to inspect parts, assuring conformance to drawing.
- Technical understanding of motorcycle chassis build and mechanical operation.
