Motorsport Tickets is a specialist online motorsport experience company embarking on an exciting journey to reach out to international customers and create our own unique travel experiences. An opportunity has arisen for a Email Marketing Manager to join our marketing team based in London. The successful applicant will join a growing team and business function. A specialist, hands-on role, with exposure across the whole marketing mix and well suited to an ambitious self-starter eager to learn within a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Working as a key member of the marketing and event teams you’ll:

  • Own delivery of our entire email marketing programme – transactional and marketing led emails
  • Creation and ownership a defined email sales channel focused on conversion, as well as browse and cart abandonment strategies and promotions
  • Create engaging, exciting and diverse campaigns all about driving sales conversion
  • Grow and nurture email subscribers
  • Creation of in-house dashboard, reporting and associated learnings
  • Develop process and documentation road maps, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.
  • Support the understanding of Motorsport Tickets customer base, helping to shape segmentation model
  • Assists with all associated promotional activities, internal group wide team and external agencies as required
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to ensure and maintain a consistent brand voice and message across channels
  • Monitor market intelligence and keep track on competitor movement and market situation
  • Assist our platform team, and wider network on associated needs to drive best execution

The Ideal Candidate

  • Digital Marketing Degree educated
  • 3-5 years’+ experience in a fast-paced ecommerce environment within travel or live event sectors
  • Demonstratable experience delivering email marketing activation programmes
  • Experience learning and activating email automation technology. Hands on experience using Bronto preferable
  • A proven track record of delivering best-in-class email marketing campaigns
  • Good ability to think on their feet and solve problems
  • Exposure to development and hands-on implementation of digital marketing campaigns
  • Travel agency and event team experience
  • Data-driven, a commercial mindset with good relationship skills and powers of persuasion
  • Good use of Google Analytics
  • Strong organisational, project skills with excellent team-working skills
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a diverse workload and working under pressure
