E-Commerce Customer Relations Coordinator

Born in 2018, Tire Streets is an online retailer of Motorsports tires in the United States and is launching in the UK early 2020. Tire Streets offers a smarter solution to performance tire buying by selling quality race and track tires at a revolutionary price through a seamless online experience.

What we’re looking for:

The Customer Relations Coordinator position is a hands-on position focused on handling day-to-day eCommerce responsibilities of Tire Streets UK to increase customer satisfaction and drive sales through the online and offline experience. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Logistics teams to drive the customer experience across all our platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but growing start-up that is expanding into different markets, as well as to learn about the ins and outs of the Motorsport tire industry and its unique challenges.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop a deep knowledge of the Tire Streets product offering.
  • Respond to all comments/direct messages to address questions or customer service inquiries through online and offline platforms in a timely manner.
  • Assist in product purchasing and order fulfillment activities such as taking orders, giving pricing information, determining appropriate shipping methods, routes, and rates, etc.
  • Monitor product order shipment to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Coordinate, analyze and improve customer service functions to meet company goals.
  • Monitor all channels for brand mentions using relevant tools.
  • Manage relationships with local influencers.
  • Evaluate sponsorship proposals and identify potential partnership opportunities.
  • Research and keep up with industry trends and local Motorsports community.
  • Plan and attend local Motorsports events.
  • Assist in marketing activities and inventory control maintenance.
  • Assist the Tire Streets team with ad-hoc requests.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or sales driven role.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of social platforms and best practices.
  • Independent, self-starter who is willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • A dedicated, self-motivated and dependable individual that loves to learn.

Preferred:

  • General enthusiasm or interest in cars and/or the auto industry.
