Customer Service Representative - Aftermarket Automotive

Stage 3 Motorsports is looking for its next aftermarket automotive-parts specialist as a Customer Service Representative!

If so, this may be the place for you. Our Customer Service Representatives first and foremost enjoy working with similar automotive-minded people whether it’s with the members of the team or our legendary customers. They enjoy working on computers and talking to customers over the phone.

Where you’ll spend your time:

  • Provides customers with answers to their aftermarket part inquiries
  • Follows up with part manufacturers, and warehouse distributors for part availability and/or estimated ship dates
  • Informs customer of expected ship date and processes all customer replies into order notes and calendar for follow up
  • Processes requests for cancellation and submits refund requests
  • Re-directs orders for alternate part searches to Sales
  • Enters accurate order notes that communicate actions and results
  • Demonstrates good judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with customers, both external and internal
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed

You have/are:

  • Working knowledge of automotive parts (suspension and performance)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer Focused
    • Demonstrated through 1 to 2 years customer service
    • Look for ways to add value beyond the customers' immediate requests
    • Addresses the unidentified, underlying and long-term needs and anticipates upcoming needs and concerns
    • Enhance the customers experience through following processes
  • Communication – Listing and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus and fosters two-way communication.
    • Listens/pays attention actively and objectively.
    • Presents information and facts in a logical manner, using appropriate phrasing and vocabulary.
    • Communicates with others honestly, respectfully, and sensitively
    • Recalls others' main points, taking them into account in own communication.
    • Checks own understanding of others' communication (e.g., paraphrases, asks questions)
  • Experience working with computers including the ability to enter information with high accuracy and ability to navigate comfortably through programs
    • Must include experience with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
    • Previous experience learning new computer systems quickly
