About the Role:
An exciting new vacancy has arisen for a Composite Paint Technician, reporting to the Paint Team Leader, to assist the Paintshop department with our growing external customer base.
As our Composite Paint Technician, your roles and responsibilities will include:

Preparation and masking of panels ready for the paint process.

Application of various primers, paints, clearcoats and specialist coatings.

Final finishing of painted components ready for inspection.

Operation of Spray-booth/ovens.

Operation of various mixing schemes.
-
Observe all Health and Safety measures.

Ensure the workspace is kept immaculate and observe housekeeping rules.

Visit to external customers, if required.
To be successful you will have:

Proven hands-on experience of all aspects of modern paint procedures.

In depth knowledge of composite paint procedures.

Excellent attention to detail and able to follow a given brief.

Good communication skills.
-
Capacity to operate independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

A flexible and can-do approach.

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
