DESCRIPTION
- Set up and operate one Haas CNC machine for many different parts, involving close tolerances and set-ups which are exacting.
- Sets controls to set specified speeds, feed rates, and depths of cuts.
- Positions and secures workpiece in jaws or fixture.
- Verifies conformance of machined workpieces to specifications
- Makes autonomous maintenance adjustments to machinery and fluid levels.
- Records daily production and is responsible for returning all set up material and paperwork to proper areas.
- Responsible for the organization and housekeeping of machine and work area.
- Set-up and switch tooling of CNC rotary draw bending machine (Bend Di, Clamp Di, Wiper Di, Pressure Di, Mandrel, Collette, Stop Blocks)
- Program new post bends into CNC bending machine
- Ensure all tube assemblies meet strict quality and compliance standards
- Checking drawings to work orders to ensure correct quantity of posts are bent and put out for job
- Can work effectively with cross-functional departments as nee
- Conduct quality inspections using appropriate quality measurement tools (calipers, taps, angles)
- Maintenance of tooling and equipment
- Other duties as required.
